AUTHOR MESSAGE
When I first became interested in futures trading, I had a TON of questions! What exactly is futures trading? How does it work? What are prop firms and funded accounts? How much money do you need to get started? And, most importantly, how do you learn to trade without making a bunch of expensive mistakes? HAHA! I knew there was a lot to learn, so I started doing my homework, researching the subject, taking notes, and organizing everything I discovered. Before long, those notes started turning into something much bigger—THIS BOOK!
I originally put this manual together to help ME learn, but then I realized something. Why not share everything I've researched and organized with other people who might be asking those same beginner questions? That's how My Futures Trading Manual came about. I wanted to create the kind of full-color, easy-to-follow educational reference that I would've loved having when I first started exploring this fascinating world of futures trading.
Now, let me make something perfectly clear. I'M NOT A TRADING GURU, AND I'M NOT PROMISING YOU'LL MAKE A FORTUNE TRADING FUTURES! There are risks, losses, learning curves, and plenty of things that can go wrong. I'm still learning myself! That's why I encourage you to study, practice, find experienced mentors, ask questions, and never risk money you cannot afford to lose. This book is a starting point for your education, not a substitute for proper training or experience.
What excites me most about learning something new is discovering possibilities I might never have considered before. That's been true throughout my entrepreneurial life, and it's certainly true with futures trading. Whether you eventually become an active trader or simply walk away with a better understanding of the markets, I hope the knowledge inside this book serves you well.
