📖 Have Men Given Up On Women? Why Some Men Walk Away From Dating?

Excerpted and adapted from Wake Up Ladies book by Bart Smith. Reprinted by Permission.

You keep crying about "where all the good men have gone," while you completely ignore the reality that women have made the modern dating scene an absolute minefield for your future husband. Men haven't suddenly lost their drive; they've just looked at the cost-to-benefit ratio of chasing a girlfriend and decided to opt out.

For decades, a man was expected to take all the risks, absorb every rejection, fund the dates, and do all the heavy lifting just for a shot at winning your heart. But today? He steps out of line once, tries to politely introduce himself, and gets blasted on social media or treated like a criminal.

Decent men aren't angry; they are just exhausted by the endless entitlement and lack of basic human decency. They are packing up their attention, focusing on their money, and leaving you to swipe on apps until you're old and grey.

ARE YOU SO COMPLACENT IN YOUR ARROGANCE THAT YOU’RE WILLING TO WATCH THE EXACT MAN YOU PRAYED FOR WALK OUT OF THE DATING POOL FOR GOOD?

Wake Up Ladies by Bart Smith

  • STOP TREATING AN APPROACH LIKE A CRIME.

A decent fellow walking up to you to say hello isn't harassing you; he is showing courage. If you roll your eyes, snap a dismissive insult, or humiliate him for trying, you are the reason good guys stop trying to find a wife. Are you treating well-meaning suitors like garbage just to feed a cheap ego trip?

  • REJECTION WEARS DOWN EVEN THE STRONGEST MAN.

Men have feelings, pride, and hearts that get bruised after being shot down repeatedly. When a guy gets treated like an enemy just for expressing interest, he eventually stops asking any lady out and pours his energy into his career or hobbies instead. Is your cold, unapproachable resting face actively sabotaging your chances of ever finding a loving boyfriend?

  • DROP THE DELUSION THAT THE MAN MUST DO 100% OF THE WORK.

If you see a handsome, hardworking fellow who catches your eye, why are you sitting there like a statue expecting him to read your mind? Throw him a lifeline, flash a genuine smile, say a warm hello, and give her man a green light to take the lead. Are you letting your pride keep you single because you think it's beneath you to show a little encouragement?

  • A SIMPLISTIC "NO" DOESN'T REQUIRE CRUELTY.

Nobody is forcing you to go out with every guy who asks, but there is a massive gulf between a polite "no thank you" and treating a man like dirt. When you destroy a guy's confidence, you don't just ruin his day—you make him too cynical to ever approach the next gal who might actually want him. Are you projecting the trauma from your toxic exes onto innocent, decent men who just wanted to get to know you?

  • THE CONCEITED DATING CHECKLIST IS KILLING ROMANCE.

You want a protector, a provider, a comedian, and a model all wrapped in one, but you offer absolutely zero warmth or enthusiasm in return. Talk about your one-way street. Where's the back and forth exchange of gratitude and service in the form of love for someone else? Romance is a mutual exchange of energy, and if a good man senses you're just looking for an ATM or a lifestyle upgrade instead of a genuine connection, he will gladly walk and leave you alone. Are your ridiculous, hyper-inflated expectations keeping you isolated from a perfectly wonderful future husband?

FINAL WORD

Good men haven’t vanished; they’ve just gone into their own worlds because the modern dating landscape treats them like targets for a hit 'n' run man-bashing gala event. If you are serious about finding a devoted boyfriend or a lifelong husband, you need to make it safe for him to pursue you. Show some kindness, smile, use your body language to signal, "come here, I want to talk with you," and stop waiting for him to do all the heavy lifting. Show how STRONG you are and make the first move ... before another woman does and you lose your chance to get to know him. WAKE UP, LADIES! THAT WONDERFUL MAN YOU'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR MIGHT JUST NEED A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT TO TAKE THE LEAP!
