Here's where I print and distribute all my paperback books, Kindle eBooks and now hardback books. What I like about KDP is you can upload an unlimited number of manuscript revisions (without charges) and order proofs of your book for what it costs to print the book, which is based on page count. What's more, you can also take advantage of their online digital proofer, which let's you see where you might have errors in your manuscript. Then, make those changes before you submit so you're approval is high. Also, you're linked right into Amazon.com for sale. That's a plus. Lastly, with their Expanded Distribution, you can sell your book through 20,000+ other online book retailers. Nice, huh?

When you publish your books through KDP, you can take advantage of their cover template generator when it comes to designing your book covers.
These custom sized, downloadable templates help you create print-ready paperback covers with your desired graphic design program, such as Canva or Affinity. You can use any software that will open a PNG or PDF file and save/export to a PDF file. You'll submit these customized cover files to KDP with the exact dimensions, layout, and bleed measurements your book calls for all based on the page count.
CHECK PROFITS & COST OF BOOKS
How much will your paperback book cost to print? How much profit will you make when you sell your book? Refer to KDP's online printing cost and royalty calculator for those answers. Just provide some basic details about your paperback book and click the Submit button to calculate those numbers. Using this online KDP calculator helps you determine how much you might sell your book for (to determine your profits) and how much your book will cost you (to purchase author copies) so you know how much your book will cost (based a lot on page count, black/white or color interior, etc.).
Whenever I publish a new book, I'll order posters made of the front cover (2 qty) and the back cover (1 qty). Well, I'll need easels to showcase them, right? Here's a nice one. TIP: If you find an easel you really like, buy at least three (3) of the same easel. They may break, you may have two (2) front covers of your book and one (1) back cover that all need an easel for; hence why we need to have three (3) easels on hand.
Check out these other easels in case you find something more to your liking and within the budget you want to spend for an easel. Also, check out this easel, as it's super cheap. How many easels do you need? If you're like me and have 35+ book covers (posters) to showcase in one event, and you needed 30+ easels, well, get them for as cheap as you can, right? HAHA
Maybe you need some book holders for your books that might sit on a table where you're selling them? Here are some nice clear ones. I like these! These come in a 6-pack, which is nice.

"ALL-IN-ONE" BOOK DESIGN, PAGE LAYOUT AND COVER DESIGN SOFTWARE
Happily, I dumped Adobe's monthly subscription (extortion) payment plan for Canva's Affinity (formerly known as Serif, is now owned by Canva).
What was once sold individually for a one-time price per software, is NOW FREE!!! I've replaced Adobe InDesign, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop with these (3) Canva software programs and you can (and should) too.
Don't pay Adobe monthly FOREVER for software you'd rather own for FREE. To download Affinity, sign in with your Canva account (or create one for free).
BUSINESS CARD PRINTING
I created my cookie business cards on my computer, uploaded them to my OvernightPrints account, chose my card features (i.e., double-sided gloss, rounded corners, etc.), then my cards were printed and mailed to me within a week.
